here's another one - -+- JVComm32 FAX SSTV RTTY SYNOP NAVTEX program -+-
Was free last time I looked...... Does anyone out there know a trick to get rid of the electical noise from a laptop when using a cheap reciever & wxfax program? I would have great reception, usually, until I turned on the little inverter we had....then you could hear noise on the radio. Turn on the comp and even more noise. Move the mouse or click on something and yet even more noise as the processor worked. Sometimes horrible, sometimes not, but always there degrading what we were getting in. I tried putting distance between the radio, inverter and laptop and it did help ever so slightly, but the noise is still there. A friend had the same problem on her yacht and all the equipment was of much better quality then ours. Anyone experienced this problem with a similar set-up and solved it? thanks! J |
