ST7000 Autopilot - 12v or 24v??

I'm away from the boat and can't check my unit at the moment... I got a spare course computer (brain) for the ST7000 and it says "Type 300 24Volt" on the case.

Did these units come in both 12 and 24 volt models? I have no 24v circuits aboard (at least that I know of )

I know for a fact my ST7000 is 12 volts.

Yes, these units were available in both 12 & 24 VDC.

According to the:

The standard Type 1 unit was 12VDC, whilst the optional Type 2 Unit was 24VDC.

The Type 300 is also available in 12 or 24VDC
