ST60 Wind Vane

I have an older ST60 wind sensor with an up-side-down J (fishing Pole Looking) arm. The spinner spins but the control head is not receiving data. Can the older transceiver be replaced with a new straight arm version available today? Are the connectors going to be the same, so I can change it out (Plug and Play)?
