ST4000 replacement

So my control head on the Raymarine ST4000 is toast. Does anybody have a replacement or maybe suggest an upgrade that utilizes the existing Depth, Speed, and Wind transducers?

Thanks in advance

Re: ST4000 replacement

I replaced with a new control head for the short term and it is working fine. Just bought a new plotter, raymarine eS78 and am told it can work as a control head for the st 4000. I have the same issue as with your idea of integrating each of the instruments that you mention. I am also using a vesper watchmate AIS system.

Re: ST4000 replacement

I think you can replace the ST4000 control head with a ST6000 and a S1, that way you can still use your wind, speed and depth transducers and maybe upgrade to a linear drive at a later point. I have a ST4000 wheel drive myself and have upgraded to a mkII, but in my opinion it is just a plastic toy thing, good enough to go below to make some food or coffee but not reliable for long ocean crossings.
