SSB RECEIVER ONLY

I have been searching this thread trying to get a feeling of the "best" under $200.00 SSB receiver... I have come across some recommendations and comments here, but the threads are old..so just wondering what is new out there under $200.00.
My sailing will be mostly coastal...and maybe a foray into the Bahamas..

I just picked up a Tecsun PL-880. I really like it, but don't have any cruising SSB experience with it yet. So far, I'm still playing with it at home.

I wonder if you might find an old Yaesu or Kenwood TX/DX you could use for reception only for close to that? Maybe one that aint so pretty? I did buy a Kenwood 430 for $300 a few years back.

Tecsun 660/680 or 880, Sony 7600GR, Sangean 909X.

Must have had maybe 10 years very good service from a degen 1103, great for weatherfax.
