Squeaky Raymarine X-5 Autopilot

I installed a new Raymarine x-5 autopilot on my Niagara 31 (about 9,000lbs) a few weeks ago. When engaged, it will occasionally squeak, i.e make a high pitched noise. It makes a low pitch "scratchy" noise all the time, which is acceptable.

Can't pin down what makes it squeak. Any suggestions ? Any cures ?
