Resealing a chartplotter screen

I have a Garmin 3206 that I have been nursing along. It has always had a foggy (internal) screen that seems to go away as it warms up.

This summer I took it off the boat and opened it up to dry for a couple weeks in my office.

Then I noticed that the outer plastic protective screen had separated the adhesive/tape/glue? that seals it to the case. So water was finding its way in just by rolling down the screen.

I have had this unit apart so I'm familiar with disassembly.

Does anyone know what type of adhesive or glue would put it back together again? The original appears to be a very thin double sided tape. Not sure if this is commercially available or if a "glue" would be a better option. McMaster has loads of tapes and glues just looking for opinions on what you think is best.

Thx

This seems like a very good option, optically clear, double sided, seals out water
