Have a Tri
sensor that was installed too close to
keel, and the speed difference on the different tack is enormous.
Getting a replacement
hull fitting and moving it forward is a obvious move, however just wondering if there is a better alternative: A analogue paddle
wheel that is subject to
hull fouling etc is not the best. Years ago (!984) was working on a ship that had a ultrasonic
transducer that was very good. I know that
Raymarine have a digital replacement but its having issues.
Does somebody have a better suggestion.
