Repeater for NMEA2000 and 0183 data.

Hi all,
My Navman 3100 Repeater has given up after 15 years that I know about; I think 3 before that, so I guess not bad.
What I need ideally is a repeater that will accept 0183 and 2000; 0183 from the existing 3100S depth and log instruments, and 2000 from the Simrad IS20 wind I installed a couple of years ago to replace the 3100S Wind.

Does anyone know if such a thing is available?

(there are various reasons why I would like to keep the existing three instrument display over the companionway, rather than go to an MFD which would have to be at the pedestal)

Thanks

You could use an Actisense NGW-1-ISO to convert from NMEA0183 to NMEA2000 (or the other way) to bring the NMEA0183 data onto your NMEA2000 network, and then add any NMEA2000 displays you want.

^this is the way I'd do it.

do you have several nmea 183 connections? or does everything join into one already? otherwise you'd need multiple converters or a multiplexer

I don't think any small screens will take both. except for chart plotters. (and even now a lot don't take both)

Re: Repeater for NMEA2000 and 0183 data.

Thanks for your responses; been off air a while; if you want to see something really not funny try searching something like "windows 10 where has my wifi gone?"
Back to subject: yes it seems I would need two actisenses or one plus a multiplexer for the two 0183 outputs. Starts to add up.
These instruments (log, sounder and repeater) are currently connected by Navbus; just connect all the blue wires together, all the orange together and off you go. The depth and log also have 0183 outputs and the repeater has 3 x 0183 inputs.
I get the feeling I'm going to go without the repeater until something I really need fails and I have to go 2000.

Rgds
