Real Vision 3D transducer

Hello.

Had anyone got experience with installing these on a sailboat?

Port / Starboard I have the version that allows for deadrise 14 to 26 degrees, but according to Raymarine it should be level fore / aft which is going to be a pain for us.

The current position we were going to use has 13 degrees fore/aft which if we really do have to be level with need to be made flush with a leveling block.

We also start running out of thread on the stem of the transducer.

Do does it. REALLY have to be level fore/aft?

Cheers

Al
