Raymarine X-5 Autopilot

I am installing an X-5 Autopilot on my C&C 34. I have no choice but to run the cable from the compass to the computer within 1 foot of my VHF radio. I am concerned about interference from the VHF affecting the signal from the compass. The manual mentions using copex conduit but doesn't say if this will eliminte interference with the signal from the compass.

Can anyone provide advice?
