Raymarine Hull Transmitter T121 new/defective?

Purchased new. Just unpacked and my receiver T111 T112 does not display information from speed and depth transducers. Power + - to transmitter is good. No power at the speed and depth exit wires from the hull transmitter.
Stumped, and not getting good help from manufacturer. This device was purchased new from Defenders for a backup since we were out cruising for several months. Pulled boat to install and cannot get it to work. Am I missing something? Douglas Redding, Captain "Nebula" Niagara Sailboat. Sure would appreciate some help.
