Raymarine E90W Chartplotter - GPS

When I bought my Raymarine E90W chartplotter about a year ago I'm sure the salesman said it had an internal GPS receiver...but now I can't seem to "connect" to it. Until now I've been operating it from an external GPS that recently broke.

I'd appreciate any comments on whether the E90W does have an internal GPS receiver, and if it does how to select it as the GPS source?

Never believe the salesman

You actually need a GPS sensor. An antenna only works if you have a separate GPS display/receiver unit with coax cable to the antenna. If you have an antenna with data wires coming out of it, the receiver is inside the antenna and it's normally called a GPS sensor.

ciao!
Nick.
