Raymarine Bi-Data Transducer Problems

Is the removable part on the bidata transducer the temperature sensor?
And yes I'm sure it's only a bidata, because my ST60 has a separate speed transducer...and because the bottom of this piece has no wheel. It's just a flat surface.

I'm talking about the part that from the inside looks like a speed transducer, except a little more heavy duty. In addition to the thread on cap, it also has a pin to keep it in place.

Reason I'm asking is, my temp just started reading about 122+ degrees F all of a sudden. I'm wondering if I need to replace the entire through hull or if I can just pull and replace that part. Assuming I can actually remove it. WAY harder to pull then the speed paddle.

Err! Nevermind

After looking at the cable that goes to that transducer I realized its a Garmin (not actually connected to anything, though).

So, I'll have to replace the entire temp/depth. Maybe I'll just get a tridata, so I can have one less transducer?
