Raymarine Autohelm 4000 motor

My Autohelm 4000 motor died, and the original manufacturer (Fracmo, part number 452-02-136) is unable or unwilling to advise a current part number. Supposedly Raymarine now buys their motors from China. Does anyone know a comparable part number for this motor, and where they can be purchased?

You need to be more precise about which Autohelm 4000 you own, Tillerpilots 4000 or 4000 GP or wheelpilot 4000. All three motors used to be available in Australia from Glasscraft in Brisbane, they get them from Raymarine Australia. It will help if you have also the Autohelm serial number. Raymarine I am sure would be able to help you and direct you to a supplier near you.

Perhaps you can obtain the info by calling Raymarine tech support folks in New Hampshire, USA - I just got my autopilot motor rebuilt as well as purchasing a course computer and found the technician (Mark) to be very helpful. Their number is (US) 603-881-5200
