Hi All I have a Raymarin ST50 wind speed direction indicator supplied by a masthead transmitter.
Wind direction works fine the wind speed however Does not seem to function and shows was appears to Be Ir on the digital screen (bit hard to say if this is a 1 or an I).
Question is two fold has any body come across this and what did you do.
Does anyone know what the symbels mean...I have searched the net but cant find any information. Thoughts.

An unusual display.

Could you have accidentally put your ST50 into Calibration mode? That would have been done by holding down the disp and the true/app buttons simultaneously for 12 seconds.

If so, you would see a display such as the dIr shown in the graphic below.

Do you have a copy of the User's Manual? Raymarine has them for free download on its website.

Try https://raymarine.app.box.com/s/w7dp...1/1/1517638771 then choose ST50 and look for ST50wind.pdf or ST50_plus_Wind.pdf as appropriate.
