Say hello to the Pigs if you beat me to the Exumas this year. We did find AIS great in the Channel and all the pleasure boats have it.

We are in same shape. We have the last of thenRaymarine non digital, so you cannot upgrade any single part. Radar, autopilot, st60+ instruments, plus two multifunctions, Big GpS screen. None of it consistent or works with new instruments. So when something breaks. It is prob 30 k, or buy from EBay.

Or start slowly replacing one system at a time as money permits, my boat didn't have much electronics, but what there was, is old and is being gradually replaced, that way I can plan the expenses, catch things on sale etc. The AC product of the week has been good for me.
