Hi everybody, has someone experience with this issue? My (old?) 2004 Furuno M1832 radar with 36nm ant, give a signal that specially at lower range (0.125 nm) is too strength, also with Gain set to minimum. Here an image at the dock,inside harbour (when radar was working, it was possible to distinguish the docks)

Bucaniere,
Have you performed the 'self-test' routine found under the menu section?
If it shows your hours used is up around 2-3000 then the magnetron could be finished.
Bad [corroded] connections in the dome could also be a problem.
Do you have a users manual?

I have never had your problem and no longer have that radar, just the manual.
