The advantage to WDS on the Bullet is that you only have to have one device running, don't leave your computer open to attack (which can happen with either Windows or Mac), use less power...
of thumb, in WDS mode (single) you want your available wireless bandwidth to be about 4x your backhaul bandwidth. So, if you have wireless signal sufficient to get 10 MBPS you'll be able to use all of a 2.5 MBPS signal on the end connected to the internet
. If you can't get 4x then you probably won't be using all of the available bandwidth at the other end. There's a lot of "depends" in there, so it's just a general rule
