Question on SSB grounding for ferro boats

Hi, we want to fit a SSB radio in our ferro yacht, I have read about SSBgrounding on steel yachts where the hull is used as the ground. One article mentioned that ferro's are the same as steel. Very easy to ground. Can I just use a through hull for grounding, effectively the same as a steel boat, or do I need a grounding plate or copper strapping. Anyone on the board with a ferro yacht care to share information about thier aerial setup. I also dont have backstays, so would be looking to use a whip aerial.

Thanks
Jacquie

No need for the grounding plate. I would think that the through hole should do it. Lots of comments on this in another thread.
