That material is usually pretty narrow, and I'll leave the discussion of the holes effect on grounding to someone with more of a tecnical basis for having a valid opinion.
But if you are at Home Depot anyway, take a look at copper roof flashing. Heavy weight, available in long lengths, easily cut with tin snips, a lot cheaper than any similar source of copper from electronic or marine
suppliers. If it's too wide, you can just roll it up tight and cut the whole roll to width in one go with a hacksaw.
