Pin outs to Vdo wind speed

Hi
I am trying to to repair my now considerably old Vdo analogue wind speed that came with my new to me but older Cruising yacht. I have rebuilt the mast head equipment but have found a botched soldering job on the 7 pin DIN plug that goes into the back of the dial. I can get a response from the system but it's not accurate yet. Could anyone who has an analogue Vdo wind dial be able to carefully open the din plug to give me the pin outs for the six coloured wires and the one pin that is not used. I'd appreciate it. Thanks
Pitts

Re: Pin outs to Vdo wind speed

Thanks GM. It was a long shot if anyone would reply, so I appreciate your effort. I had already worked through that particular document and alas no success. I've now brought the mast head apparatus down to match the pinouts. I'll let you know the outcome. Pitts.

Re: Pin outs to Vdo wind speed

GordMay and others who might be interested;
I persevered with the system isolating the wind angle dial, then adding, close hauled dial, and finally wind speed. Although all three dials responded, either my pinout config was incorrect or the actual pcb in the rebuilt cup and tail fin assembly had already suffered a meltdown. The end result was some overheating to the primary read coil ... and it was all over bar the clean up. Thanks for the input anyway.
Regards
