PCB for B&G H1000 Wind Transducer

B&G H1000 masthead wind transducer (circa 2001)

The PCB in the masthead unit has broken. The service people say they only sell a recon unit for $538 AUD. Seems a lot to me.
Heard that there are some "generic" PCB replacements that should work and at a 3rd of this price. Has anyone had any experience of these units and where do you get them?

Keeping my fingers crossed...!
