Make sure the Garmin
is set to communicate via NMEA
. The Garmins come from the factory set to a Garmin proprietary format. But if you scan down deep in the menus, you can change it.
That's my first guess.
Second, are you connected serial
? USB? USB through a serial
emulator? If it's straight USB, older versions of Nobeltec
didn't support it.
Third, depending on the version of Nobeltec
, if it's not registered or if you have a dongle and it's not connected, the GPS connectivity is what gets disabled.
