NMEA to bluetooth?

I am looking to buy a new chartplotter/multifunction display an am looking at The Ray Marine E7D and the Garmin 741xs. Both of these devices have bluetooth interfaces as well as wifi. Neither manual says anything about being able to output NMEA sentences through the bluetooth interface. I own a couple of Garmin devices and lack of documentation does not mean the device lacks the feature. For instance there is no mention of being able to output NMEA sentences on the USB interface on my 78sc but if you drill down through the menus it is quite easy to set up. I was wondering if any current owners of either of these devices might have found a way to accomplish sending out NMEA sentences via the bluetooth interface.
