NMEA 0183 to 2000 conversion question

So I am doing a partial refit of my navigation equipment. I am replacing the gps, radio, wind, and depth sensors that all used to speak nmea 0183. The replacements are: B&G Vulcan 9 chart, B&G V50 vhf, and the B&G Triton 2 wind, speed, and mfd. The devices that are staying 0183 are the Furuno radar, and the B&G NETWORK pilot. (https://manuals.bandg.com/discontinu..._%28ACP%29.pdf)

I am looking into interfacing the 0183 stuff with this:

It looks to be a multiplexer and gateway all rolled into one device.

My question is this:

Do I still have to use the old display with all the autopilot controls or can I network in the pilot from the acp and use the new triton display as the new controller, or do I have to keep the original controller?

any and all thoughts are welcome!

Thanks!
