Nema 0183 lowrance elite 4 to icon 402 and simrad tp22

I was going to connect my new gps to my VHF and tiller pilot.

Can 0183 be sent from gps to two different devices (VHF and tiller pilot)?

How do I wire these up?

Thanks

Absolutely you can. You need the NMEA Data Cable
And just take the data out and ground wires , splice to the data in and ground wires on your VHF and Tillerpilot.
NMEA 0183 only has 2 wires (other than Ground or shield), data in and data out. Don't worry if you connect them wrongly, it wont break anything, it just wont work! You also have to set the port type on the Lowrance to NMEA, and make sure the Baud rates for all 3 devices are the same.
Good luck!

Interconnection of boat electronics is usually via NMEA-0183. NEMA is another organization.

In NMEA-0183, a single TALKER can be connected to more than one LISTENER.

For advice on how to interconnect NMEA-0183 devices, see my guide

continuousWave: Whaler: Reference: NMEA-0183 Interconnection Guide

The ICOM IC-M402 radio is particularly odd about the NMEA sentence it will respond to. I detail this in another article. See

http://continuouswave.com/whaler/ref...tressTest.html

Read the section under the heading "Problems with the SC-101 Radio"
