Navtex Weather

I have a Navtex NAV6 and I am considering the removal from my chart table panel as I have never managed to work out how to get anything from it in the way of useful information. I have been through the manual with no results and I have written to Navtex who have not replied. I am in Asia at the moment. Does anyone have any idea's please because it's taking up valuable room.

Asia isn't the smallest continent. Look for navtex stations and their frequency in your vicinity (english and/or local). In the Philippines is no station, hence nothing to receive.

None of the 3 stations listed in RP is operating! So don't wonder. But you did not write where you are

Did you hook the Navtex up to a GPS?
If so it will tune to the nearest station.
