Navionics Freshest Data

Has anyone tried the New Freshest Data feature on Navionics Charts? What do you think?

Panbo, a great electronics resource, has an entry on Freshest Data:

Panbo: The Marine Electronics Weblog: Navionics charts, really fresh data & lots of it

Re: Navionics Freshest Data

I have been using it for several months, unfortunately I can't update my Chart Chip, because it is to large. (Central & South America). I have to contact Navionics and have them send a new chip, which since I am in CentralAmerica if difficult.

With that said the idea of user input is great... The interface of making routes and waypoints is a bit clunky, but hey it is a start!

I encourage everyone to add infomration, since it only gets better with input!
