I need a bit of help.. I have MyWi on a jailbroken 3Gs. Been working flawlessly for some time. Yesterday it seems to only want to tether ONE computer at a time on the wifi side (used to do 5!) If Joanne is on her PC and I open the Mac, it kicks her off. Just for grins I opened the boat's PC and that kicked her off too. The Mac NEVER gets the boot.

Checked the settings I know, left the ones I wasn't familiar with alone.

Hard booted everything with no change

Suggestions?

Its not a huge deal, but the cell amplifier on the boat is a cradle type and only connects one iPhone at a time. I have no signal where anchored right now without the booster unless I go on deck. So unless one of us goes on deck, we need to log on one at a time.

How did you configure ip address. Maybe you gave the same or the range for dhxp is limited. Pcs will usually show a window if the ip address is conflicting not sure about macs

This has fixed a lot of MiWi problems for me:

Turn off all the devices that will be connecting.

Go to Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings

Reboot your iPhone.

Once it's back on and MiWi is running, bring the devices back up, one at a time.

So far no joy on any of the above. Grrrrrrr! I really dislike PCs! I think I'll go buy her a Mac!
