Marine Electronics recommendations

It is time for me to upgrade my chartplotter to a sailplotter and new autopilot and sensors to boot on a 2011 Lagoon 400 catamaran. Problem is I'm cruising outside the US, currently in Panama, but heading to Hawaii. I'm looking for recommendations of people who are up on the 9 axis sensors, masthead inertial dampened wind vane, forward looking sonar, etc. It is probably between Raymarine and B&G. If there's someone in Hawaii, great, but I'm also willing to buy from whoever is knowledgeable or pay them a consulting fee. Is there anyone out there that you really like?

Re: Marine Electronics recommendations

I don't know if they have a distributor in Hawaii, but NKE in my eyes is the hands down leader in autopilots and instruments. There is some reasonable argument that B&G is closing in on them recently, but NKE are still the top of the heap.

The downside to either the high end B&G or NKE is that they are not cheap. A full set of instruments runs north of $10k not including the chart plotter or radar.
