magnetron eV Mg5223

As the subject says I came into possession of a said piece of electronic equipment so I am interested for some more info about the said item. Is there a market for these things at all? And could someone tell me a ballpark figure of it's worth. Hope I posted in the right section of the forum.

More info is here:
Marconi Applied Technologies MG5223 S-Band Magnetron

That is the easy part. The value could be anywhere from $0.00 to over $1000.00. You said nothing about its condition. If used and removed from a radar system, go with a low or the zero value. If new, you have the issue of finding a buyer. The buyer is likely to be a repair facility who would be looking for a price advantage to buy from you instead of an established industry source with warranty support.

Thx for the reply, it was indeed removed from an existing ship. So I guess I got a marine paperweight :-)
