Radar, Garmin Chartplotter, rewire mast, install new VHF antenna, install new LED mast lights, install subpanel for navigation lighting ( out of room on main panel), etc.

I am getting things worked out with MTS so stand by. In any case, knowing there is a second vendor available is helpful.

I think the only issue with HH is that there is a lack of competition. I called many vendors outside of HH to see if they could provide estimates for various work but they either don't travel "that far" or they can't meet the bond requirements.

So, while HH is great for the all-vendors in one place, you don't have options.

For the record... I had MTS install my new charger and batteries and they did a good job. There was one or two issues which could have been a real problem but we worked those out.

I can attest that Herrington Harbour welcomes outside contractors and has the same insurance requirements as most bay yards... I had lots of customers there and never had an issue.

Ditto. Only requirement is that you have proof of adequate insurance and that you check in with them.

I contacted just about every marine electrician and canvas maker in the Annapolis area and not a one would travel to HHN or they claimed they could not meet the bond requirements.

l'm not sure if he will travel from Annapolis to Harrington Harbor, but Andy from YES (Yacht Electronics Systems) is absolutely 1st Class. He's well worth it, if you can get him. Definitely worth the call.
