Long stem panoptix transducer

Hi,

Does anyone produce a long stem transducer for the garmin sonar? We needed to buy a long stem depth sounder because our hull is so thick where the transducer goes through.

I really like the idea of having a real sonar on the boat since we need to replace our depth sounder transducer anyhow.

The link you posted look like regular transducers. Maybe I am understanding the difference between a sonar and a transducer?
