Locating wiring path on 1986 Chris Craft Catalina

Good Morning,

We have a new-to-us 1986 Chris Craft 42' Catalina. It has a hard top over the aft deck. The under side of the hard top is covered with a liner and has two down lights with individual switches near the stern. I would like to install a switch somewhere near the wing door entrance to the aft deck so we can easily turn on the lights when we board in the evenings. Does anyone have any experience with this make and model? Where does the 12v wiring run from the hard top down to the power distribution panel down in the salon? Where would be the easiest place to access the wiring for those lights and install a switch? Any advice or insights would be appreciated.

Thanks.

John
