I've been very happy, I made the change 3 or 4 years ago and the only failure was my fault when I was reaching for the fixture to move it and bumped the bulb. It helps considerably on battery draw when anchored out. They do not make it easy to find what you want but the results were well worth it, 6 G-4 LED bulbs on eBay were $8.00 + or - with free shipping.
