So I get this email but the message itself doesn't appear here:
---------------------------
Babzu has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - LED bulbs - in the Electronics: Communications, Navigation& Entertainment (Audio/Visual) forum of Cruisers & Sailing Forums.

Here is the message that has just been posted:
Quote:

*Has anyone tried the Multi-voltage Smart LED Bulbs by Leddealer
*
I'm interested in it - looks like a good product - will replace a number of my current bulbs - BUT before I buy I want an independent view from people who might have used it.
Anyone?
***************
--------------------------

Interesting concept, I'm guessing it has to generate RFI by using a miniature switching power supply of some kind in the base of the bulb, if it is all for real.

Deleted because the guy was making a spamming run for his own store?

Hellosailor, it was because the poster was a spammer and all four posts he managed to get in before he was shut down, was spam pushing the LEDdealer site. So it was removed, thus you could not find the post.
So as the guy does not have the benifit of still having his "name in lights", I hope you don't mind if I edit your post in such a way that his business is no longer seen. I don't want him to benifit. I hope you understand.

we keep in stock all led replacement lights for 1 nm 2 nm and 3 nm usage both in the bajonet type and the long 2 ended types , they are admitted by the european coast guard and work great. never up in the mast again to replace a light and 90 % lower power consumption

We replaced our tri-color and anchor light bubs with LEDs from Dr. LED a little over a year ago. These are the only lights we often leave on all night an we've noticed a big difference since we got them, especially when I forget to turn off the anchor light!
Recommend them highly....

Is anyone using LEDs for general interior lighting and, if so, has the color improved enough to be pleasant?

Tom

In the FastCats we use all interior lighting in warm White LEDs and the night lighting is included in these light fixtures and they are pleasant strong enough and dimmable
