Hi, This may be more applicable to members familiar with Australian telecommunications.
I have an existing external antenna
for my (now disused) GSM mobile phone
(my yacht is aluminum
so I need one). I now have a new Telstra NextG wireless broadband modem
(ie 3G, not 4G) which appears to not benefit from being connected to the old GSM antenna
Should I expect the GSM antenna to assist the NextG modem
(in which case I'll go looking for bad connections etc) or do I need to consider a new NextG-specific external antenna?
Thanks, Andrew G.
