iridium sms

hi

i know you can send text messages from an iridum 9505a phone to an email address or another iridium user but is it possible to also send sms messages (i.e. txt messages) to a regular cell phone?

Yes - with a few caveats. Since Iridium uses some GSM technology, it's possible that it only works with phones on GSM networks. I'd have to read up a bit more, but I have to go do laundry before the Admiral gets mad!
