Iridium Pilot Installation

Hello! I'm looking at installing the Iridium Pilot on my boat. I am curious if anyone has tried these mounting options:

• A radar mount type bracket on the front of a mast
• Deck level, using just the 6" supplied mount
• Or perhaps on a gimbal mount on a backstay?

I have yawl rig so my options for mounting are limited.

It is a seems to be a relatively new unit and so far I'm coming up empty handed on installation advice from vendors for my rig.
