Iridium Openport

I haven iridium Openport on my boat and would like to send andreceive emails a cost effective. Possible. My current email address is frought with crap and spam
Do I open a gmail account and tell know one ? Then I join say passage planner , send them the new email adress and then they. Email me inreturnthe weather grib files.
If anyone. Knows what the best option are , I would apprecite it

I would use an email address which has already been used for a longer time and for which the spam emails have been identified. Issue with a brand new email address is, at some point you will receive a lot of spams and you have them identify them as spam (=download and look at it).

Gmail or Yahoo are ok - but use it for a while, detect all the spams and then you will have almost no spams in your mailbox.

We use gmail and even though we post our email in out blog without hiding it in any way we get almost no spam in our inbox. Just one person's experience.
