Ipad connects to WiFi but no internet

My wife's ipad has lost its internet connectivity--no email, no pandora, and no safari. Was working fine until a few days ago.

It connects to the boat's Cradlepoint WIFI. I can see the ipad's IP and MAC address when I am logged onto the Cradlepoint from a Windows PC. I can open a DOS window on the PC and do a successful ping to the ipad's IP address. None of the other computers on the boat have issues surfing the net. I am not at all knowledgeable about the workings of the ipad, so I am stuck. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

I had the same problem, Wi-Fi was ok but would not connect to internet/safari......

What I did after reading this https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5277818 was Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings > Enter Passcode > Reset......

Mine's worked fine ever since....

This is what Aplle would tell you to do. Just note it's **network** settings and not the whole iPad.

It is. I was agreeing with you since I've had apple tell me to do what you stated. I was just cautioning to be sure they chose network settings and not a complete device reset.
