Ipad 4 HF weatherfax app

Does anyone have experience with the app allowing download from HF radio of weather fax to an ipad? Will it work in the Indo region? Wondered if static/ electrical interference affected it? Any info appreciated, or is inmarsat a better option?

Can not speak for the area, but I use HF FAX on my ipad (3) and it works great. So far it has not required a Great signal, and even boat noises like wind and the like only cause minor distortion s... Great product, works very well.

What HF receiver do you use Faith? The iPad mic picks up the audio cleanly through the air without needing a wired connection?

Thats great, thanks. Do you use a cellular ipad or is it cheaper to wifi it? Heading overseas and its a pretty steep learning curve!
