I am planning to install two Interphase forward looking sonars on my boat, one in each hull. After some comparision between Echopilot and Interphase, I came to the conclusion that Interphase was the one for me.

Then checking the different types, I find it hard to see the differerence between the SE-200A (Escort) type and the iScanV90.
Anyone knows?

I would preferanbly have one that also can scan horisontally in one hull, and one only vertical scan in the other hull.
I have somewhere read that the iScan V90 is both vertical and horisontal scanning, but I'm not sure about that.

Also I wonder where to find a fairly cheap about 7" display for this. The Interphase display is about $900, which I think is a little to much for a display, but maybe that's the best price to get.

Anyone of you have any knowledge in this?
