INavX

I had to reload INavX. I had problems with the app loading and was advised to delete the app, then reload from the Apple Store. This was successful. I also have the waypoints and routes backed up and was successful in downloading. I have over 300 days on my INavX account with x-traverse.

I now want to reload my charts, Caribbean and Sweden charts. Both are on record and as said over 300 days recorded on account with x-traverse.

Has anyone had to reload the charts? How is this done without of course having to repay?

I am trying only to reload on the device I originally had them downloaded too. I have not downloaded the charts on any other device.

Thanks.

Re: INavX

I have not had to reload the app, but I must admit, I have been tempted to try that as mine seems to have slowed down when loading. I think its easy enough to reload your charts. When you open the app and go to charts, there's an option to update charts list. I think that will update your charts. To be safe, I would log on to your x-traverse account (on computer) before and from there, you can check what charts you are actively subscribed to. So long as your subscriptions are active, you should not have a problem updating or re-loading charts.

Re: INavX

I have been to the site and have not been able to find a link to re download. Under the charts when you buy it is stated that you are able too, as long as your subscription has not expired. I renewed over Christmas so no problem there. I am afraid to download, they begin by asking for credit card info and would rather not pay and then try to r recover that expense. I sent them an email, I will report what I find. Until then hopefully someone on the forum has had the same experience.

Re: INavX

This is the email I received from INavX. It worked very easily and they returned my inquire within 24 hours.

On the iNavX app's main page, tap Add more charts to menu.

Tap the Account button in the upper-left corner. Enter your X-Traverse account's Email and case sensitive Password. Tap Save to return to the "Add more..." list.

Tap Navionics Gold Marine Charts Current (not 2010). If prompted to automatically detect charts, tap Yes and let iNavX place all subscribed chart titles on its main screen... that is, 3XG and 44XG should appear on the screen.

Back on the main iNavX page, tap on this Navionics 3XG (or 44XG) to enter its chart list (initially empty).

Tap the option Update Chart List and answer Yes to the prompts for updating and activating to this one licensed device.

From the presented list of chart regions, select any one to download. Tap the red Yes button to download just the single selected chart or tap the "all" button to download all charts in one large batch (which may take a several minutes).

If you get an error message, tell me what step gets buggered up and quote a few words of the error message. Based on that I will tell you what we should do next.
