Hi all,
I'm trying to figure out a simple way to output the
SSB audio to the stereo. This would allow me to listen to nets and broadcasts easily in the
cockpit. My stereo has a 1/8 inch input jack but a simple patch cord from the 802's headphone output doesn't
work. I remember something about the 802 detecting resistance when headphones are plugged in to allow audio over that jack (since it doubles as the programming port).
Has anyone played around with this?
I know another option would be tapping into the 802's speaker output, but then I would have to add a switch to turn off the normal speaker and make a custom cord to split the mono into stereo.
Thoughts?
