IC-707 - Will an AT-130 Tuner Work ?

Getting ready to bring my sailboat back to florida from the caribbean and my old SSB (IC-700M) has died. Can pick up a IC-707 cheap, is it a good reliable radio and will an AT-130 tuner work with it to tune into the cruising and weather nets? Departing in 2 weeks and need to make some quick decisions. Any help is appreciated.

The IC-707 is a good solid basic HAM rig which has received very good reports. It is not a marine radio.

The 707 can be set up for the AH-4 and the AT-160 tuners. I'm not sure whether or not it will work with the AT-130, but you might give a call to Icom since your time is so short.
