How to connect GPS cable to Hydra 2000 junction box

I have bought a sailing yacht with various electronic navigation equipment incl. Hydra 2000 from B&G. To make a long story short, I have a new GPS cable I need to connect to the Hydra 2000 system.

In addition I would like to use the GPS signal for the VHF and my PC (chart plotter) via serial PC plugs (RS-232). It have worked before but not any more and I cannot figure-out how it was done. It seems that the GPS cable and the connections to the VHF etc. was connected in a bit primitive way directly into the B&G junction. See picture

The white cable in the front is the old GPS cable but that cannot be used any more. My new cable do not have the same colours. The wire colours on the new GPS cable is according to the table.

Is there anyone who can give me a hint on where to start? I probably will start to remove the loosely connected wires to start with a “clean” junction box.

That's a good place to start. Is that green wire right in the center broken?

Re: How to connect GPS cable to Hydra 2000 junction box

Well - some of the wires are not connected to anything.

But, let me try to be more specific.

The cable from the new GPS antenna has 8 wires.

1) White – Receive Data A
2) Black – Ground
3) Red – VIN
4) Orange – Accessory On
5) White/Red – Transmit Data B
6) Gray – Transmit Data A
7) White/Orange – Receive Data B
8) Violet – Pulse per second (PPS)

Which of the wires shall I connect to the where in the junction box?

In the previous setup it was only two wires from the antenna that was used.

But I don’t know which two as the colours are different.

So the first question is: What type of input or connections does the Hydra
computer require?

Thank you for any comments
