HF Emergency Whip Antenna mount/wiring help needed

Hi Guys,

I just dug up the old 2 piece emergency HF whip antenna which I can't find the mounting base that I removed from the back of the boat a few years ago. Can anyone recommend a suitable antenna base? it definitely doesn't fit any offerings from GME. It's about ~25mm/1" inner diam and has no protruding lead.

Am I right in assuming that this antenna would work mounted onto a stainless bolt thread with a high tension lead from the ATU attached to the bolt via a drilled and tapped hole? I think the side threaded hole on the female base is for a locking grub screw, then again it could have been the lead attachment point.

Thanks
Johol
