GTO-15
Is used in both neon signs and as ignition cable in oil fired domestic heating systems. I think you might find some if you call some local some local sign shops or heating contractors.

I'd also say ask a local neon sign shop. Don't call, just stop by and they may be willing to do you a favor. Or check eBay, odd lots of wire often go very reasonably.
Lifeline just isn't the same -- the GTO-15 has a high voltage insulation, lifeline does not.

GTO WIRE STAND-OFFS
A bit off-topic, but we are redoing our tuner and looking for advice and/or ideas for stand-offs. We previously used pieces of hose, lengths of hose and I've been told you can put a shroud "cable" over the wire. Any ideas appreciated. Sounds like a lot of you people are familiar with radio installations.
Thanks

Re: GTO WIRE STAND-OFFS
Ramblin',
What did you find out about "standoffs". I'm told to not run the GTO along a metal run, without a standoff arrangement like ladder line usen in ham radio antennas. I'm getting back into HAM and am fitting out the 37' Seidelmann; already have the insulated backstay and AT-140 Icom Tuner, IC760MKIIG multiband radio, and IC802-VHF-SSB; want to use switch for the radios to the common antenna. Also need to check and diagram separate systems (ground, radio, etc.
Thanks, Bob rjgmt1@gmail.com WH6UO (amateur) & WDC7622 (Ship Radio Station)
